Scope of Vessel Work

Experienced in working with a wide range of materials such as stainless steels, duplex stainless, carbon steel and nickel alloys, we typically fabricate large pressure vessels 25 feet in diameter that require field erecting by, shipping to site by truck, rail or barge in a knocked down condition.

TIW follows the requirements of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC)  and maintains our ASME “U”, and National Board “R” stamps in accordance with ASME VIII Division 1 & 2 and National board requirements. We custom fabricate each ASME pressure vessel to our client’s design specifications, industry standards and code requirements

ASME Code Applications/Specifications

  • Operating pressure range: 15 to 3,000 PSIG
  • Recommended for applications with vacuum over 20 inches of mercury
  • Capable of handling hazardous or flammable gases
  • Commonly used on blowers, compressors, and vacuum pumps
  • Suitable for use with pressure-reduction valves and in-line filters
